Growing the Girls Game (G3) Winter Webinar Series

NJ Youth Soccer is excited to announce its upcoming schedule for the Growing the Girls Game (G3) Winter Webinar Series featuring four incredible women. These free webinars will provide free content designed for NJYS registered females on topics related to leadership and empowerment. Each webinar will last approximately 30 minutes and is available to the first 500 NJYS players who complete the online registration. See below for the webinar speaker schedule:

 

Yael Averbuch (click here to register): Thursday, December 2nd at 8:00pm

The former Executive Director of the National Women’s Soccer League Players Association, Yael runs her own business called Techne Futbol, which is a training app designed to help players form a relationship with the ball. She also currently serves as the Interim General Manager of Gotham FC of the National Women's Soccer League. To learn more about Yael and her journey, visit HERE.

 

Skye Eddy (click here to register): Thursday, December 16th at 8:00pm

As she reflected upon her experiences in the game, Skye determined that the best way to inspire players was by empowering parents. In addition to working as an active youth coach and serving on the Board for Richmond Strikers SC, Skye is the founder of the Soccer Parenting Association. Heather Mitts (click here to register): Tuesday, January 25th at 8:00pm

A former defender for the United States Women’s National Team and a winner of three Olympic Gold Medals, Heather now aims to assist others in living their fullest life through sport, health and mindset with her work at Gold Medal Mindset. To learn more about GMM and Heather, visit HERE.

 

Amanda Vandervort (click here to register): Tuesday, January 11th at 8:00pm

Currently the President of the USL Super League, Amanda previously worked as the Chief Women’s Football Officer at FIFPRO and as the Vice President of Fan Engagement at Major League Soccer. She also became the fifth female President of United Soccer Coaches following her election to the position in 2016. Amanda is a soccer coach, player, and sports business executive with a 20-year track record of soccer leadership stretching across the youth, high school, college and professional game.
